Choosing a MOLDING type:
Crown Molding installs where the wall meets the ceiling for a finished, formal look, available in multiple profile heights and projection depths. Material & finish:
Most of our trim is primed MDF or finger-jointed primed wood, ready for paint without additional sanding or priming. MDF resists warping in humidity better than solid pine, making it a common choice across Texas.

A. Finger-jointed trim is made from short wood pieces joined end-to-end then primed to hide the seams. It costs less and resists warping better than one-piece solid wood, though it's paint-grade only, not suited for a stained, natural-wood finish.
